look my 5 stars mean that i would recommend and that I was gripped by the book. Like i finished this book in 2 days and im a mom of two, one of which is still a newborn. I tore through this book and that means i loved it. It has spice, but it also has a strong plot. and the spice isnt overbearing like some spicy romances. if you like dark romances i think youd like this one. beautifully written.

Unfortunately I did not hate this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not good, but I was entertained.

All the other characters were way more interesting to me and I’m excited to move on to other books in the series.

Will pay to never see the name Glyndon again.

Also, the last time I DNFd this, my note to myself was that there were random chapters from characters I felt like I was expected to know but did not know, and it turns out that’s their parents and they all have their own books too. I will not be reading those, but you can skim those chapters as they’re not very relevant.

“Understand this, Glyndon, there’s nothing noble or tender about what I feel for you. It’s a violent volcano of obsession, possession, and deranged lust. If you want love, then I do love you, but it’s the unorthodox version of love. I love you enough to let you within my walls. I love you enough to let you talk to my demons. I love you enough to allow you to have a hold over me when I’ve never allowed anyone to have the power to destroy me from the inside out.”

These books are SO unhinged, yet I continue to devour them. I really enjoyed Killian and Glyndons story!!

i love rina kent’s writing!! as soon as i read the parents story last year i knew i needed to read this series once all the books have been released! it’s been a while since ive read dark romance but this author always does it’s justice with the dark romance aspect and the tropes! i can’t wait to read the next book!

I don’t quite know how to feel about this book. It was very spicy but the story just wasn’t worth reading. Very transparent. Very one dimensional.
