I think that more I read this book the more realistic it became. Dalia is a strong character who is dependent on her sister but is also ready to break free and do her own thing. She is super close with her sister but when the opportunity for her to earn good money before she starts the new semester pops up, she has a hard time refusing. It all started with Melly, her sister, dragging her to see Blue is the Color, and one of the band members passes out. Dalia caught it on camera, put it on Twitter, and then became the target of harrasment. She lost her coffee shop job.
I think that the reason this series seems interesting to me is that Dalia integrated herself with each band member and even other bands throughout this story. She didn't just have interactions with Nick. Nick fell for Dalia faster than she did for him and the fact that he was ready to settle down with her made this even more interesting. I think that usually the girl falls first or it is simultaneous but seeing Nick see a life with Dalia really made it worth the read.
Nick has been through abandonment by important people in his life, his mother, Jas's mother, etc. Granted, Jas's mom died from being sick. Still, Nick came from nothing and then had someone he wasn't ready to lose in Dalia. However, when he is angry she didn't tell him about possibly leaving, he misunderstood that she had gotten a freelance job to create websites and manage social media. He lashed out and ended up breaking her heart. The chapters where they slowly rebuilt a shaky foundation were done well, I think. They talked and yet didn't, they built a relationship to be friendship and then grew from there. Dalia showed up at a show in Europe and they reconnected.
Overall, one of the better music related romance series I have started. I think that this has the workings to be one of my favorites. I love the connections and relationships that build a world around the main characters.

I just loved how Dalia was so sassy and quick witted where as Nick is all broody and grumpy as when they are around each other is fun for everyone as they verbally spar and its all Nicks fault for calling her a name no one should be called. All the guys from Blue is the Colour band are great with such different personality's so getting to know them while seeing how things unfold for Dalia and Nick was great especially as you get to understand why he lashed out. I have to say one of my favorite parts was what Dalia bought for Ian and then how Nick reacted (insert grab tissues) so yeah read it, love it and wait impatiently like me for the next book! 😜

Excellent book! Great story and fun to read made me giggle and laugh so much I almost cried. So sweet can't wait to read the series
There's a lot to love in this book - a fiesty female protagonist; a sexy, brooding rock star; and a enemies-to-lovers plot. I also appreciate that the characters are a bit older (Nick, the male protagonist, is in his thirties and Dalia, the female protagonist, is 25). Wolf does a good job building these characters, so the relationships feel authentic. I also found the timeline of the romance much more realistic than other similar novels. If you want some longing with satisfying spicy scenes, then this novel is for you. I read it in a few hours, a very easy read.

Ok book. They seemed to fall in love very fast but I felt they had a physical connection more than an emotional connection. I didn’t really like the 2 main characters- Nick was a bit of a prick and Dalia was such a try hard. Just because you have tits and tattoos doesn’t mean you’re a bad ass. Some of the plot was also inconsistent.
A quick, fun read reminiscent of Wattpad books that was predictable but still fun. I did find myself skimming a lot.
Also the constant mention of feet made me feel ILL.

This book was SO good. I have discovered a love for romance books that are enemies to lovers XD. The main girl is AMAZING. She has most of her shit together and cares about her family and is feisty and I LOVE HER. The main guy is the front man of the band Blue is the Color and is kind of a grump and emotionally not present. The main girl and her sister go to a Blue is the Color concert, even though she doesn’t really like the band and thinks they’re outdated etc., and when they get there in matching bedazzled shirts (totally sounds like something my sister and I would do lol) the concert starts but it abruptly stopped when one of the band members falls out on the stage and everyone is herded out of the club. Obviously irritated with the situation the main girl takes to twitter to complain about it all, with video/photo evidence and basically said he was so drunk he couldn’t even perform. Which obviously leads to this huge barrage of tweets and retweets and the main guy basically calling her a cunt. The main girl gets fired and the PR manager for the band contacts her and such and it goes from there (don’t want to spoil too much) and it was written beautifully and was SO GOOOODDDDD. I loved the HEA they got and the CONSTANT banter and back and forth it was SO good. I originally read this book because I saw a quote from it that was SPICY and it was so good, I might even reread it because I LOVE the characters and the relationships and friendships formed. It was so good omg.
Dalia and her sister, Melle, go to see Blue is the Color in concert. Dalia, who doesn't like the band, wants to make her sister happy. While there, Jasper, the bassist, collapses, which causes the concert to be canceled. Outraged, Dalia tweeted that the band was extremely unprofessional.
Nick Fletcher, the band's lead singer, may or may not tweet back a few unkind words. His counter-attack causes Dalia to lose her job and be stalked by crazed fans. Jasper contacts Dalia, clears up confusion, and invites her over to apologize. When she shows up, Nick is also there. Tali, the band's manager, offers Dalia a summer job on the road with Blue is the Color, which she of course accepts.
How will she survive being on the same bus as Nick Fletcher?
I really enjoyed this book.
