I saw the author speak at a literature festival back in 2017 and put it on my list. I finally got around to actually reading it and I was engaged the entire time. If you like books by Gillian Flynn I would recommend this book.

Amazing debut, I loved the writing style and the synopsis.
I am interested in anything about serial killers and/or sociopaths and this book had it all. A 16 year old girl who will definitely end up killing more people if they stand in your way.
I will keep my eyes open for her next book and can’t wait to read it!

This is book I listened to on my sister's audible account. I love listening on her account because she picks books I would never read or listen to myself. This is one of those books. A serial killer's daughter, is she good or is she bad? How far does the apple fall from the tree. I found myself intrigued by the concept of good vs bad and how much do we really learn and/or inherit from our parents. I found Millie's life incredibly sad, and Phoebe incredibly mean.
