This was a great start to this new series. It introduced the group of friends the series would revolve around as well as the small town they live in. I loved the tie in to the cottonwood cove series with Romeo being Lincoln’s brother. Romeo, River, Nash, Kingston, and Hayes have such a strong bond that’s been forged through trials and tribulations they’ve faced together. I think Romeo was the perfect place to start this series!

Romeo and Demi have a lot of secrets between them. They start as enemies because Romeo has been burned by her brother and father and has learned to guard his trust. But I loved the development of their relationship. They were both attracted to each other but had to learn to trust each other before they were willing to open up and expose the things that stood in the way of their relationship.

Romeo turned out to be the ultimate book boyfriend. He supported Demi in any way he could, including facing things he wasn’t sure he could. He was always honest with her and expected the same from Demi. Demi was just as supportive of Romeo. She did everything she could to help him train for his big fight, even when she thought he hated her.

I loved the way Romeo and Demi communicated. They found they had more in common than they thought and they were both fiercely loyal to those they loved. As much as I loved them, Beefcake definitely stole the show. I loved how he was the perfect gentleman to Demi. He added some depth to Romeo’s character because we were able to see his love for his friend’s son.

I never knew I was a boxing fan, but this book really sold me on it. I found myself running the gamut of emotions, laughing at Beefcake, swooning over Romeo, and sweating for the outcome of Romeo’s fight right alongside Demi. I loved every moment in this book and cannot wait for more from this friend group, and more Beefcake!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. ❤❤❤
The best part of this was Beefcake (iykyk 🤣). Every time he showed up i was dying laughing. I cannot wait till he gets older I know he is gonna be a mix of all the guys personalities.
NOW Romeo and Demi were so adorably in love. Their story was fast AND slow. The slow part was them going somewhat enemies to being  friends to being more. It was slow but also the perfect pace cause they got to know each other and fall for one another slowly. It was very cute to watch them try to deny how attracted they were to each other. The fast part happened once they made it official. I did feel like the L word was dropped a little too quickly.
Besides them being obsessed with each other there was still a lot of drama happening that definitely kept me entertained and wanting more. Romeos group of friends were amazing. I love each and every one of them. They were so supportive of him and each other and will have each others back without a second thought. The way they become protective over Demi once she was dating Romeo had me tearing up a little bit 🥺
Definitely recommend this book it was the perfect love story. They have such an amazing connection and chemistry. Their banter was everything. I especially loved how they supported each other no matter what.
“Because I love your face. I loved watching you come apart for me. You’re so pretty. I want to be looking at you all the time."
"He kissed me like I was the air he needed to breathe."
THIS MAN IS SO IN LOVE 😭😭😭 I don't blame her for falling for him not only is he hot but he has such a good heart.🫶🏼

Demi and Romeo do not get along, at all. They are the very definition of enemies to lovers. My favourite part of this book was seeing Romeo be protective of Demi, despite claiming to hate her. This book had such a found family feel to it, with Romeo’s family accepting Demi and loving her immensely.

I can’t wait for the rest of the Magnolia Falls series!

I am so glad to have gotten  to dive back into another beautiful, small town romance by the ever talented 𝙻𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊 𝙿𝚊𝚟𝚕𝚘𝚟. She has once again chiseled beautiful characters, added banter & found families & created the best start to a new series & I am so glad I was here for it!

Let's talk Romeo Knight. I absolutely loved him! He was chiseled perfectly and I fell hard, and fast, for him in this story! When he is with Demi.....at first, he didn't want to like her....but, the sparks of chemistry was out of this world & there was no denying 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 feelings!

Demi Crawford. She was beautifully done! I loved her sunshine self, and her story and how Romeo's family just took to her! It wasn't easy, but they found a rhythm together and their story was absolutely awesome!

𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑟 𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑠. Is there a character that that man can not bring to life in the best of ways? No, no I don't think so. His performance of bringing Romeo to life was magnificent. And, 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑟. She is one of my top female narrators and she nailed Demi perfectly! I loved how her voice flowed! Together, they breathed life into these gorgeous characters!

I definitely recommend this one & look forward to listening to the next 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 books!

A Good Girl, A Bad Boy, And A Hefty Dose of Steam

“I can’t stop thinking about you. Wanting you. Even though I know I shouldn’t.”

Holy Hot Romance! The angst! The steam! The drama! This one was a whirlwind and I loved this dirty talking, rough around the corners, secret softie MMC, and Demi was a freaking sweetheart. But my favorite thing was the irreverent banter and inner thoughts. It made the characters feel more real and made the feels hit harder. My heart was in my throat y’all

🥊Loving Romeo🥊

Ashley 🤝🏼Laura Pavlov. This was my first of Laura’s books and I’m OBSESSED. I loved this story and all of the characters so much. The relationship between the guys (especially their texts) was my absolute favorite. & Beefcake stole the show 👏🏻

Demi comes from a family of money, but is determined to create her own success. Romeo was burned by Demi’s family when he was younger and is determined to avoid her and her family at all costs. But  when Romeo notices a break-in at her coffee shop (which is next to his gym) he feels protective of her and realizes that she’s different than her family, but he still tries to keep her at arms length. While he’s training for a big fight Demi is finding out that her family isn’t all who she thought they were. And they both discover that each other are what they both need.

What a great start to a new series! Loving Romeo is an opposite sides of the track romance with some enemies to lovers in the mix, which is a favorite romance trope for me. Romeo and Demi are such great characters that I was drawn in and rooting for them from the start.
When I open a book by Laura Pavlov I know I can count on a story to get lost in and characters who practically leap off the page. She does not disappoint with this one, and I couldn't get enough of Romeo and Demi and Romeo's found family. There's a lot going on in the small town of Magnolia Falls, and not all of it is good, so we get a few antagonists to get us all worked up and ready to jump in the fray.
I'll leave it there so I don't spoil anything because this is one that should be read spoiler-free. That way, each reader can fall in love with Romeo and his inner circle, as well as Demi, who fits in better than you'd expect. I definitely recommend Loving Romeo, and I can't wait to see what's next for Magnolia Falls.

4.5⭐️/5⭐️

My 2nd most anticipated read of the year and I loved it!!! I love a good bad boy, good girl ‘other side of the tracks’ trope. I thought the pacing of Romeo and Demi’s story was good a tad bit insta lovey for me but nonetheless I thought they were adored and I actually liked how strong Demi was a female main character!!! I can’t wait to continue the rest of the series!

Demi and Romeo clashed from the start. Well Romeo was the one that made their beginning difficult. Anything to do with her last name automatically put him against her. They own shops next to each other. One is a boxer and one is a coffee place. Enemies from the start. There is some TW so please look that up prior to reading with addiction. They started out as enemies, then two friends, and ended up as more. This was an amazing book and I am so glad I got to read it. It almost takes you back to Cottonwood.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.
