I don’t think we all read the same book. This book had sooo much potential. I just don’t think it was fleshed out properly. I don’t even think if was edited, like, at all. Why was the fact that Sera was essentially groomed by her best friends brother just brushed over????? Am I missing something? And there was soooo much unnecessary details. Why am I reading the process of someone putting tooth paste on a tooth brush??? Why am I reading in unnecessary detail about how Tyler puts on his gear???? I skimmed over so much in this book. The first book was unnecessarily long and detailed and this one could’ve been the 300 pages that it is but with a lot more relevant detail and a lot less unnecessary descriptions of things. It was soooo boring!!!!!!!!! Please have this looked at by an editor or something.

I really loved Hades and Tink. But the ending was missing so much. The two main personal issues for both characters were completely ignored at the end and we have no idea how they dealt with them or their full outcome. This needed at least another chapter or so before the epilogue to wrap that up.

Het feit dat er over een onderwerp wordt gesproken wat niet vaak voorkomt, vond ik erg goed. Ik had het persoonlijk alleen beter gevonden als dit iets meer was uitgediept.

I really loved Sera and Tyler together. The struggles they both work through are so realistic and I felt like they had a genuine connection. I loved this story and really really really loved that there wasn’t a 3rd act major conflict (won’t call it a break up since they weren’t official)

I am SO happy I decided to continue this series. This book was better than the first. I absolutely loved it. I was laughing, crying, screaming, and crying even more. Praying Reid’s story is next

Avery Keelan is a new-to-me author and WOW I am obsessed! I love a good sports romance (hockey, MMA, football, etc). I found the Rules of the Game series through some other booksta peeps and it did not disappoint!

Her character development, spice, and dialogue are all top tier. I love how she always works in the text conversations.

I didn’t love offside but wanted to give this one a chance! It’s a brother’s teammate and friends with benefits romance set in college. I might be nudging out of the NA romances but I just didn’t feel like much happened. Seraphina (chase’s sister from book 1) moves in with the hockey guys while her mom battles breast cancer. She is also dealing with the potential of having th BRCA 1 gene.

Tyler is a goalie that is destined for the NHL and doesn’t have time for relationships. He recognizes Sera (Tink) from when they hooked up at a party where things were kept anonymous. They start to become friends, then friends with benefits to more.

I just didn’t feel like much happened. Sera had a bad friend and this friend’s brother kept hitting on her. She had to deal with school, her mom, and her own health.

I don’t know if my opinion will change with time, but the writing was good and the author made this one shorter than offside (thankfully).

Second of a hockey romance series. I liked this one better than the first. It is about half the size, moved faster, and was a simpler plot. This is a best friends sister / one night stand trope romance. It’s cute and ties into the first book in a natural way. Recommend! Smut 3/5
