It was a fun book but I knew there was gonna be angst at the end. I didn't like the unecessary third act break-up, and at this point I'd prefer for Everly to take the job and move to Miami. I'm also not a fan of the way the spicy scenes are written, I've honestly read a better-written scenes in fanfiction. The story overall was not bad, but I guess I expected more.

Faking Ms. Right by Claire Kingsley is the first book in Dirty Martini Running Club series. After reading the Haven Brothers series Claire Kingsley, I had to read some of her other books. I am quickly becoming a fan of Claire Kingsley! I absolutely adored everything about this book. It was cute, funny, and wholesome. I loved all the characters and the plot line was fun. I mean who does not love a fake dating trope! Also grumpy x sunshine, sign me up. I enjoyed this book so much and I am so excited to read the rest of the books in this series.

Everly is the definition of a sunshine FMC. I loved how she treats everyone she meets like they are her best friend. Her true besties are both freaking amazing! I love how all three are so different but as close as sisters. Shepherd was such a misunderstood sweetheart. I loved him seeing him open up and be vulnerable with Everly. Everly and Shepherd had great chemistry and I thought they complimented each other well. I have to shoutout Shepherd’s dad. He was so funny and I absolutely loved his character. I really love these characters and can’t wait to see what awaits them in the other books.

Workplace romance
Fake dating/fake engagement

Dual narration -
Emma Wilder & Jason Clarke

A good Romcom workplace romance. I found the writing to be cute and spicy. I liked the characters. It’s was a believable story. Could almost see it as a movie plot.
