Fun little rom-com coworkers-to-lovers read.
Very predictable, very HEA

Favorite quotes:

I kissed her because, in that moment, there was nowhere else I'd rather be, nothing else I'd rather be doing. And no one else I'd rather be doing it with.

"That's the thing about love, though. If you never open yourself up to the risk of being hurt, you'll never give someone the chance to get close enough to love you back.”

It was a fun book to read but it went 0-100 to quick. I was dying at the plot of “this is her love interest, her sister wants his sperm, also his dad is with his ex. It was fun, and I liked Everly’s relationship with her friends and mostly with Richard. I had a very strong suspicion Ethan would be the sperm donor right after it described him as being basically Shepherd, and it was fun how that worked out in the end. I was surprised there wasn’t more of an update with the relationship between him and his mom though.

summary and the first few chapters were promising an average enjoyable read but it ended up not giving me anything to work with? there was nothing? it was so lackluster in my opinion. their love and relationship didn’t convince me. not even their attraction to each other convinced me it just didn’t work. you would think that atleast the smut would work? nope it did not work for me at all .. truly gave me nothing

So good.

What a fun read! Even having a good idea of what would happen didn't distract from the enjoyment of reading it. Everly was the perfect blend I'd sassy and sweet and it was good being inside Shep's head to see both sides. Loved it!

I’m not really sure how I feel about this. It was a bit odd when it came to the relationships of the characters, but it was interesting I suppose. It was a fun book and an easy read.

meh, what can I say? they fell in love too fast, there was no build up and it wasn't even sexy. by half of the book the plot literally had no where to go and I honestly didn't care if they didn't end up together. also, why the fuck was he called shepherd? my skin crawled a little bit every time she called him Shep

Just kinda got boring. Although it was never really that interesting. DNF 60 percent

Faking Ms. Right by Claire Kingsley is the first book in Dirty Martini Running Club series. After reading the Haven Brothers series Claire Kingsley, I had to read some of her other books. I am quickly becoming a fan of Claire Kingsley! I absolutely adored everything about this book. It was cute, funny, and wholesome. I loved all the characters and the plot line was fun. I mean who does not love a fake dating trope! Also grumpy x sunshine, sign me up. I enjoyed this book so much and I am so excited to read the rest of the books in this series.

Everly is the definition of a sunshine FMC. I loved how she treats everyone she meets like they are her best friend. Her true besties are both freaking amazing! I love how all three are so different but as close as sisters.  Shepherd was such a misunderstood sweetheart. I loved him seeing him open up and be vulnerable with Everly. Everly and Shepherd had great chemistry and I thought they complimented each other well. I have to shoutout Shepherd’s dad. He was so funny and I absolutely loved his character. I really love these characters and can’t wait to see what awaits them in the other books.

Be still my grumpy/sunshine loving heart. I absolutely loved Shepard and Everly. They both have a lot of heart, and I really enjoyed them finding their way to each other. I also love Everly's friendships with Nora and Hazel. I can't wait to find out what's to come with the Dirty Martini Running Club.
