This was a fun read! The heroine and her friends were a riot, and I love a good grumpy Hero. The reason for the fake dating was believable, and I enjoyed Shephard's dawning realization that he was dating the wrong kind of women just by fake dating Everly. I'm definitely interested in reading the rest of the series.

Título: Faking Ms. Right
Autor: Claire Kingsley
Año de publicación: 2019
Tipo: Serie (Dirty Martini Running Club

oh man, I loved Shep and Everly. Shep was absolutely perfect with his cold stoic self showing to the world and his wonderful personality behind closed doors. The chemistry sizzled between these two and man the steamy scenes were amazing. Another great book by Claire Kingsley.

Dragged on a little long (I checked out around the 75% mark) and I don’t like the complete lack of character development on either end, but it had its moments I guess, I didn’t hate it.

I didn't see it coming but I LOVED IT. Slow burn, fake engagement, minor drama, super hot sex, there´s nothing not to love. Maybe a bit too much emotional mix-up when the ending approaches considering how well and smooth everything was going, but it was fun and hot and romantic.
A sure re-read!

This is one of my favorite grumpy / sunshine office romances. Everly Dalton has had a rough go of it after a series of disastrous dating mishaps but when her grumpy boss, Shepherd is in need of a fake girlfriend she helps him out. I love the chemistry between these two when they spend more time together out of the office. I love Everly’s friend group and how they are supportive of each other.

This book is one of my favorite narrations from Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke. Emma is great at portraying Everly’s happy, friendly personality and Jason is the perfect amount of grumpy as Shepherd. This one has been a repeat listen for me and on of my favorite books of Claire’s.

I love fake-relationship romcoms, and this one is no exception. Everly is perfectly charming. She’s an excellent sunshiny counterpoint to buttoned-up, serious Shepherd.

I needed a fun, engaging romantic comedy to help pull me out of a reading slump, and this one certainly did the trick. I can’t wait to read more about the Dirty Martini Running Club.
