To be frank, I was looking for a novella, and the blurb for this book left me thinking I would hate it.
I'm not a fan of cheating in books and having that as a trope in my brain made it difficult to enjoy the build up of this novella.
I was wrong. It was good. I'm not upset I listened to this, it was far better than I thought it would be. It was the perfect length as I can't imagine how this story could have been extended into a novel.
For something so short the author really gave the characters full shaping, including the supporting ones. I felt really satisfied after the 90 mins listening to this.

This was another novella/short story. While the twist was kind of obvious to me, it was still a lot of fun! I enjoyed it and hope to read more by this author. This was my first to actually read by the author, which I have wanted to do since she is supposed to be at Book Bonanza this year too.
