It was clever how the series was wrapped up before this but there was enough unsaid that we have scope for a good plot in this side story.
Thalia was whiney and immature as a character - which wasn’t seen in the series - but when the plot was focused on this ease a little.

Is it weird that this last book was my favourite in the series? I don’t know what it was about these two side characters that had me so infatuated, like don’t get me wrong, I absolutely loved Adara and Evren throughout, especially in the last instalment where they were just finally happy together, but this one with Sorin and Thalia just had me so happy.
