thalia and sorin should have been the mcs of the main trilogy lmao. i loved their relationship through the main trilogy so their spin off book was of course delicious.

i felt the plot was genuinely intriguing and i loved the dynamic with thalia and the human king. absolutely amazing ending to this series!

" over these next several weeks of trials" there were two trials and it maybe lasted one week.
Her books are always enjoyable to read but lacking depth and time for the plot and tension to develop.

More!!!

I love the story of Sorin and Thalia! I need so much more!!!! I never wanted this book to end. The trauma that Thalia has to overcome, the patience Sorin has for her, the love they share together... it's beautiful!

I gobbled this story up faster than I could imagine. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Holly Renee and her Kingdom of Stars and Shadows series so when I had the chance to be back in that world I jumped and the way I abandoned everything else to read this book was unreal. With this one we get Thalia and Sorins Story which picks up right after A Kingdom of Venom and Vows left off and there is no looking back.

I absolutely fell in love with Sorin and the way he pined after Thalia. His possessive and yet tender nature to her made me swoon time after time. I didn’t think it was possible to fall for another man in this world other than Evren but Sorin brought it!

And boy is Thalia one amazing FMC, she is so strong and resilient a complete badass starblessed warrior.  I love how her character really shines in this book and can flip the switch from perfect innocent starblessed playing her part well to the strong fighter we all wish to be.

If you love a great slow burn with all the angst and lust with a hot headed possessive hero that falls first for the badass FMC all while giving touch her and you ☠️ vibes then this book is for you and I promise it won’t disappoint!

This world and the characters within it that Holly has created means so much to me, I did indeed cry all the tears knowing that this is the end of this magical world but I am so excited to see what Holly brings us next!

This book got me out of my reading slump!

I actually adore Talia and Sorin, I always wanted to know their story and was excited they got their own book. It definitely felt like a copy of the first book which was my favorite of the series.

I think the story got a little repetitive where I thought I was reading the same scenes over and over. I also thought a lot of Sorin's chapters were just him talking about how much he wanted Talia which is fine, but I like scenes that show it rather than whole chapters "telling" me so.

I was really confused with the scenes with Talia and the King to the point I got uncomfortable, especially the swimming scene.

But overall, I'm glad they got their story and got to wrap up the series. I wanted more scenes of them happy together though

I loved this story! I was so excited to get to see more of these characters and to learn about their history with each other. I loved how strong of a character the FMC was. I really enjoyed watching them both realize how they felt about each other.
