Wow. What a stunning conclusion to this fantastic trilogy!! My heart is still pounding and I am still slightly teary from this marvelous ending!! There is never a dull moment with Day and June, that's for sure. So much love for these two outstanding leaders. They make a truly inspirational pair. With these two leading people, they can't help but succeed in whatever they set their minds to. I am astounded by all that Day and June have withstood and the great sacrifices they have made in the name of those they love and protect. I am sad to see them go, but that epilogue/10-years later section was truly a sight to see. Loved it!!! Loved this trilogy!!!! A fine job Ms. Marie Lu!!! Truly well done!!! <3

I have held off on reviewing all of these books because I never really knew how to put into words how I felt about them. But this world is compelling, if completely illogical. It's a scary prediction of what our futures could become well sooner than we may expect. Since all the books are written with two first-person protagonists, both of whom are too young to really understand the intricacies that make the world they live in make any sense, they do create a really immersive experience. With all the twists and turns in the story that just simply don't make sense until you get further on, it's easy to get frustrated, but I think that's the beauty of the series. You are experiencing everything with the protagonists, and nothing is ever entirely what it seems. And then there was the end of this book - non-stop action that never felt contrived, and I FINALLY understood the emotionzzzzz that I think I was meant to be feeling throughout the entire series. Regardless, this is a quality YA series, with a lot of adventure that is very easy to get lost in reading.

Oh my Marie Lu. Once again you wrotr perfection.

Oh god! This was by far the best book kn the series.

In the span of 10 hours you managed to make me laugh, cry, smile, and want to hurl my Nook across the room.

You managed to make me see rainbows and unicorns while reading. I normally hate reading multi/male POVs and you have made a firm believer in them.

While reading this book, I really wanted to be June. You managed to make June into an even more perfect heroi. She's hands down my favorite fictional heroine. I don't think I cold have been as self-less as June
Spoiler was to let go of him when she found that she found out he forgot all about her.
To me that was distinguished her as my favorite heroine.

I was ecstatic with the ending. For once in my life I didn't feel like I wanted more.

Thank you so much, Marie Lu, for writing, once again, such a beautiful, vivid, enticing, wonderful (the list could go on for ages) book!

I can't wait fir ygiur next series You g Elites!

I absolutely loved most of this book. The worldbuilding and political intrigue is still fantastic, and I really enjoyed the (albeit brief) look at Antarctica as a completely different society to the Republic and Colonies. I also loved the relationship between Day and June, they are so perfect for each other and their bond was especially strong in this book since they were fully trusting and communicating with each other. My heartstrings were tugged on multiple times.

I did not like the ending, although I’m not sure if that’s a writing thing or if it’s just me being a firm hater of both the amnesia plotline and the time skip epilogue in general. I groaned audibly when June said she and Anden started dating! And then I was very relieved when she said they broke up. I did appreciate the hopeful tone of the very last few paragraphs, though.
