I'm really enjoying this series, but I NEED to know what's going on!! There is obviously something big here, and I want to know it. That means I will be picking up the next volume soon.
Keep in mind that this is a comic series about serial killers. There is plenty of gore and death. But if you've made it to volume 3, you probably know that already.

This hit me with all sorts of excitement and more questions. I loved the time hop. I loved finding out more of the secrets of this crazy town. It has started to remind me of Hot Fuzz. But not sure this is for the greater good or not. So I’m holding my judgment.

Well damn! Just when I thought I'd finally have more answers, you get more questions.
MY THOUGHTS ABOUT NAILBITER VOLUME 3:
○ We all know that Crane and Warren had history. It used time jumps to tell the history between both these characters. It worked for me. To be fair, I thought they had tons of chemistry
○ You still don't know shit about what's going on in this town. Every time you think you're closer to the truth, the story will take you further away from it - just the way i like it.
○ Some freaky people are roaming around this town and no one even notices it. That seems a bit unrealistic. Also, where are the other police officers.
○ I feel so bad for Warren and all the Buckaroo butchers. I shouldn't, but I do. Only shows how good the writings is. I think they're all victims of some sort. I liked how the author made Warren, in particular, a bit sympathetic.
○ I like how I'm still at the edge of my seat even now that i'm at the third volume. The suspense and the intrigue is still there.
The only con I'm seeing at the moment is that i have no clue where it's going. I mean, every time something else happens, everything gets even more farfetched. While i like it, I'm not sure where it will go from here.
Other than that, I still love this series and would definitely finish it.

If I had to come up with a theme as a serial killer?
I'd be the SBD killer, and I'd go after anyone with modified exhaust that serves only to make their vehicle louder.
My whole pitch is that lack of sleep has been deemed a carcinogen, so waking people up is killing them slowly, so making your car loud is killing people, so really I'm just killing killers.
In all seriousness, what the fuck with that shit?
Has anyone EVER gotten laid because their car was loud? That can't possibly be something that's happened.
Does anyone who spent the money on that shit have a 401K?

This is the third volume in the series. It's about a town where 16 serial killer come from and the mystery surrounding it.
I like it, I want to know why this town have that many serial killers and I like the characters and the artwork. My problem, and this goes for almost every comic/graphic novel I've read, they're just too short. This series has six volumes (I don't even know if the sixth one is the last), and we are just at the surface of the mystery, because not a lot happens in each volume, and I don't like to wait so much to have the story progress.
I do recommend it, because my reservations are about the format and the fact that comics aren't my thing. The story is interesting and unique, and the artwork is pretty cool.
