I love this one so much! I love the complex emotions and how they were handled. The character arcs were satisfying and the plot fine enough.

Lost interest in the characters. She tried to tie in too many other characters from her other stories and it was way too obvious.

this one is my favorite in the series so far!
I really liked Sloane and Xavier's relationship! their dynamic and their chemistry was truly on point and it gave me some very soft vibes of the power we were accostumed to from the Twisted series. I think their build up was very well done and organic and I absolutely loved seeing them discover themselves and each other.
even the other little side plots were very sweet and cute and just augmented my enjoyment for the book! the part with the fish, the family issues on both parts, the mysterious green eyes… I don't know, I just loved the attention to detail in this one and it made me really excited for the next ones to come… also, I truly wish that one day I get to visit that famous library because my oh my… it sure has something! xD
anyway this was a great book, I was very pleasently surprised and I woulkd 100% recommend it.

this was cute! i feel like i still wanted more, but that comes with the territory i suppose. i loved getting to see more of sloane and lovedddd xavier. what a great mmc and what a good match for sloane.

what started out as a joke turned into a need to read all of ana huang’s books. are they great writing? no. are they super original? also no. but they’re great palette cleansers and feel good romances that now seem to have a bit of mystery to them
i assume the mercenary group that burned the vault is also connected to dominic’s brother? and sloane said she bumped into a man she sort of recognized but couldn’t name?

for how spicy i thought the twisted love series was, i feel like the kings of sin under deliver on that front. but, i do think the stories have a bit more substance so i guess that’s the trade off
