Bookbub informed of the ebook being free back in 2015, so I did not pay for it.
Interesting start, though not much action, but being a former (Computer) Helpdesk Slave, I really enjoy the methods for investigation used. Cannot say for sure, how accurate the supposed autism of the MC Genevieve is. Everything is from her point of view.
Would have liked more details of the technology used, and I find it rather odd, that someone who uses computers for her work to create lists and presentation says of herself to know very little about computer - given the amount of time she spends with computers, she should know Excel, SQL and a few other things very well, or she is not able to do her work very well. There certainly is a difference between a proficient high-end user (I would consider the MC a high-end user), a programer and a hacker, and a professional should know her own limits and when to consult other experts (as she does when teaming up with a good female hacker), but in this book it does belittle herself, also it was late in the book, that just felt wrong for me.
Also this book is not very suspenseful and one of the bad guys is from a limited group of people, so no real surprise.
Recommended but fluffy read, even though there is romance only hinted at, no sex. Felt too long.
So solid 3stars. Will read the next book of the series, as that was free a few days ago (as an ebook).

Like the characters, the main has Aspergers and it makes for interesting situations(having OCD myself I could relate to some things) liked her interplay with the new people forced into her life. More mystery and action than anything else. Cute series

This was a fun read. Love the quirky characters, esp Genevieve, though I thought quite a few times her literal interpretations were too literal for someone with her education. One can be literal yet also understand common idioms that one has undoubtably encountered at some point before in one's life.

Genevieve, Jenny, or Jen-girl - depending on who is addressing her, is a highly functioning autistic woman who works for an insurance company that insures art work. Her boss brings her what seems to be a simple request that soon spirals into a much bigger problem with multiple murdrs, government intrigue, an art thief, and more. All this chaos provides a real challenge to Genevieve and her ordered approach to life. There were so many times I found myself nodding in agreement with Genevieve. I found this to be a nicely paced thriller with engaging characters. Can't wait to read the next in the series!

This book was very interesting. It had a very slow start, but once it got going, it was very difficult to put down. It has a very interesting bunch of characters and it has to do with one of my favorite subjects... art.

This was quite a good story with a twist to the normal main character. I liked that she was autistic which was how she managed to solve the crime.

This was a really interesting book! Wasn’t enough about art for me (yet), but it went lots of directions I wasn’t expecting. I enjoyed the relationships a lot more than I thought I would. Great start to a series, I think. But also totally works as a standalone. No cliffhanger at all.

I’ve never read a book where the main character had autism or a disorder similar and it was really unique.

While the book description interested me, the book itself was far more than I had expected. Genevieve's development throughout the book as she accepts more and more people into her perfectly structured life is humorous while giving insight into the world of autism. While I enjoyed the mystery of the book, I really enjoyed the characters in Genevieve's world and Genevieve herself. It's a great read and I can't wait for the next one!

This story, from Francine's POV, is a unique look at the team through someone else's eyes. While Genevieve and the other's played a large part in the story, I have to say that I loved hearing about the case and the dynamics of the team from Francine. I don't want to give anything away, but the romance in this book is sweet, and I was ecstatic when it happened! This is another wonderful book by Estelle Ryan, and a must read!!
