This book is set in the glorious 90s, about newlywed couple April and Eddie and the wrong turn they take. They pick up an injured hitchhiker and are soon caught up in small town murder, a possible serial killer, and.. ghosts?

This book was a fun read. It's both very straightforward and we also get twists that don't quite make sense. It's a good summer paranormal thriller.

It took me a little bit to get into this novel, but once I did I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story is not at all realistic and I’m not sure I’d believe the story, if it happened in my town, however it was an interesting story with parts of realism. It’s a good ghost tale to tell around a camp fire 😆

Evernight has never let me down and I LOOOVE ITTTTTT!!!!!! This one had me hooked from the get go, I love paranormal reads even if they are extremely far fetched and this one hits the mark!!

Who could’ve guessed we were looking for a ghost the whole time instead of a real life murderer?! (technically…)

I read some of this late at night and completely regretted it and I’m not one that scares easy, will def be looking into Simone’s other reads!!
