2.5 rounded up because the spice was spicing but the narrators voice was KILLING me.

Logan + Emmaline

Never having had an orgasm is definitely worse than never been kissed ... random thought but honest.

Punished

I really enjoyed reading this story. Emmaline is an average person trying to make it in life and Luke just wants someone to love him. Can't wait to see what's next.

I absolutely loved this book!! I received a gifted copy and I voluntarily am leaving a review! The trust you put in someone is scary and amazing all at once. When Emmaline finally puts her faith and trust in Logan, anything is possible. I loved the character development and storyline progression. The little twists and turns make it interesting. Gotta say though Ronnie slithering in like a demon through the kitchen window scared the crap out of me!!! Great book! Would highly recommend!!

This was rough to get through. Penelope Bloom has potential as an author but could really benefit from tracking her plot in an outline as she goes along. An ex-wife was mentioned at the beginning of the story... and then never heard from again. As the saying goes, if you mention a gun in the first act it needs to be used in the second act. Emmaline confesses being frustrated with vanilla sex, and then it's never mentioned again (unless it got skipped in my reading cause I just needed to be done with book, in which case, my bad).

I never really cared for the characters and I felt like Bloom could have used the scenario in this book to explore Emmaline's sexuality so much more.

So much potential but, of the two books I've read by Bloom, they've both desperately needed an editor and beta reader to rip it apart to help her put them back together for a great story.

This was a pretty good read for me. I've never read anything by this author before but I enjoyed this one enough that I will check out some of her other books.

So like I said I enjoyed this one for the most part. The writing was good. The pace moved along nicely. I loved Logan. He was sexy and Dominant. That said, it did have a couple issues that took my rating down.

One, the heroine was a bit annoying to me. Mostly because I legit couldn't figure out what her issue was. She had "trust issues" and this somehow translated into her not being able to get off when having vanilla sex? Which made NO sense to me. Because at the very heart of a BDSM relationship is TRUST. She was trusting enough to have this guy tie her up and blindfold her in his HOME with NO ONE around, but making love...NOOO. And the tennis court scene...no clue what that was all about. Why was Logan so mad?

My other issues was the ex-wife. Her blackmailing scheme was just left hanging. I guess he stopped paying her off, but it's never really mentioned. Also, what happened to her mom? What happened with her Dad who basically stole ALL her trust fund? *shrug*

“Tonight I’m perfectly fine with Mr Steele dominating my thoughts, I just wish he was dominating more than that, ”

This book was a good idea but I struggled to finish it.

I did enjoy how the male main character (Logan) was written. He was caring, sexy and dominate, loved him as a character!

I listened to this on Kindle Unlimited Audio...

Logan has been in a rut after his ex wife tried to ruin him. He decides to get back into his desires at Club Crave. When Emmaline is trying to figure out how to pay her bills and debt off after her father takes her trust fund away. She starts working at Club Crave to start paying for her debts thats when her and Logans relationship starts to play out. Emmaline's famiy is awful and use her for her money and when she doesn't give enough that's when trouble starts to happen. Logan wants to protect her at all cost. What happens when protection fails? What happens when the company is trying to get taken over? What happens when BDSM is the only way you can get off, how will that effect the relationship?

This book was rushed. It started off with such great potential and the ending just was rushed and seemed like things just got tied up too quickly. There were parts of the book that were a bit more dragged out that I would have loved to have shorter just for the ending to be opened up or just have like 20 more pages to fully end it out. This book had the bones and I fell for Logan just wished for a bit more.

Alexander Cendese and Kate Waldren have great voices. Alexander is one of my favorites.

This is more of a 4.5 star read for me.
Emiline has her own businesses and is trying to stay afloat. Logan has is own company but is missing something. Logan is having a Valentine's day party at his house. Emiline's friend invited her to this party. That's where they meet.

That first meeting was hysterical. I feel bad for Logan about his past. The tennis match was unbelievable. After the match was painful. I love the fact that it's hard to stay away from each other. It makes everything sweeter. She feels like prized. That's how you're supposed to feel when a Dom is showing you what he likes and what you may like. You need to have some form of trust to be with them. I hate Ronnie. The whole thing with Logan company was crazy. The ending is beautiful. I really enjoyed this.
