Sebastian investigates the murder of a Lady, set up to look like the Regent did it, and uncovering the possibility of civil war. Refers to the elite of London during the beginning of the fall of the House of Hanover. Kat has some freedom, but also limitations (as far as being accepted if she marries Sebastian). This is a sweet love story.

Another enjoyable entry in this Regency mystery series.

I've read the first two in this series and I do enjoy the historical details and atmosphere, but I'm not very invested in the characters. The main character is a sort of regency-era James Bond, and realistically he would have died from infection several times over, given the number of injuries he sustains in very unsanitary conditions. They are easy audiobooks to listen to while multitasking though, so I may come back to the series in the future.

Solid follow-up in the mysteries featuring Sebastian St. Cyr.

The second in the Sebastian St. Cyr series was written just as well as the first. I love consistency in a series! Sebastian is tasked with finding the killer of a young woman. As it's a mystery, I won't give anymore detail to avoid spoilers. I highly recommend this series, the author does a great job with character development, you really get to know them. I also appreciate that everything is well described but without unnecessary detail to keep the story moving. Seriously, read these books!

The second in a series that I started a couple of years ago, this book was a very enjoyable read. Devlin is still haunted by his past and now the death of a Marchioness has brought new information to light about his mother's death....or is she dead?

Not only do I think the main mystery is well thought out, but the twists and turns that brought about the end to the mystery of who killed the Marchioness found in the Regent's arms in Brighton also bring us closer to the mystery that surrounds Devlin himself. Now I can't wait to read the next installment in this series.
