Dickens writing! Finally revisiting as an adult, it’s so witty and funny . I prefer David Copperfield slightly but still enjoyed this one

Great expectations had a solid plot and characters that were well fleshed out. I just don't know if Charles Dickens is for me. I feel like a lot of this book was very long-winded. Instead of a 500 page book I think it could have been a 300 page book. I really did enjoy act three of this book though and thought it wrapped up very nicely.
