I liked the book, was written to be read quickly. The end was cool but could of been written with a little more details...
La novela es un poco extraña en su desarrollo. Procuraré no hacer ningún destripe del argumento (adelanto que su gracia precisamente son los giros argumentales) pero a veces da la sensación de faltarle algo. Por ejemplo, Alice vuelve frecuentemente al pasado en una serie de flashbacks en los que recuerda dos hechos traumáticos que condicionan su carácter (en ocasiones se convierte en un personaje bastante insoportable, todo hay que decirlo) Estos recuerdos en ocasiones rompen el ritmo de la novela e algunos incluso son tediosos. Cuando la novela vuelve al presente, como ya decía antes, justo cuando la trama empieza a perder fuerza, el escritor se saca un truco de la chistera y te vuelve a sorprender con un giro radical de los hechos, información relevante sobre los personajes o sobre el por qué están en esa situación. Y el final, totalmente inesperado, al menos por mi parte, me dejó perpleja. Incluso dan ganas de releer la historia para encajar las piezas. Sorprendida, sin duda, pero con buen sabor de boca.
En resumen: una historia muy interesante, y a pesar de que cuenta con algunos altibajos considerables el autor logra reconducirla en diversas ocasiones, llegando al gran final que, si te pasa como a mí, te dejará con la boca abierta.

Central Park by Guillaume Musso was extremely fast paced and easy to devour. Though it took a little bit of suspension of belief, I loved the framework it was set up through. It was creepy, thrilling, and suspenseful. I really liked the characters and while I was shocked at the end (no, it didn’t get the coveted audible *gasp*, but it did get a mild “well okay then”), I wish the author had continued to push the envelope to the last page. Obviously there has to be a closing action, but it wasn’t really where I felt the characters were going based on their interactions and personalities. While I really disliked the ending (because I found it wildly unbelievable despite suspending my understanding of how systems and relationships ought to work) I still think this book is worth the read for the wild adventure Alice and Gabriel find themselves on. I think there is definitely a crowd out there would would love the way this ended, I’m just not one of them—but maybe you are? Either way, worth the read since life is unpredictable and this certainly brings that to the forefront.

Waktu disuruh mencari buku ini oleh teman bukuku aku penasaran hingga akhirnya aku mencari 2-3 toko buku terdekat dan entah kenapa susah sekali mencari buku ini yang pada akhirnya aku berhasil dipinjami XD
Jujur aku gak mau pasang ekspektasi tinggi untuk buku ini dan sengaja gak mau membaca review di Goodreads kayak apa. penasaran seperti apa cerita buku yang katanya sudah diterjemahkan ke 42 bahasa ini dan baru membaca chapter pertamanya aja buku ini udah membius perhatianku..
Alice Schfer, Kapten Divisi Krimal Kepolisian di Paris tiba-tiba terbangun dengan posisi tangan terborgol dengan seorang laki-laki asing yang tidak ia kenal. Makin pusing lagi Kenapa Alice berada disini? malam sebelumnya ia masih berpesta dengan teman-temannya di Paris dan pagi harinya kenapa ia sudah berada di Kota New York? lalu siapa laki-laki asing disebelahnya ini?
Hebat sih buku ini berhasil membuatku kecele sama ceritanya.. aku gak nyangka aja kalau ceritanya akan seperti itu karena endingnya bisa dibuat berbagai macam kemungkinan XD di akhir-akhir plot twistnya membuatku terkejut owalah ternyata semua ini.. dan salut terjemahan buku ini enak untuk dibaca! Terimakasih Opat!
Kalau suka kisah misteri dan thriller yang (tidak) biasa. ingin merasakan adrenalin terpacu kejar mengejar dengan penjahat silakan dijajal untuk membaca buku ini :)

الجميل في روايات غيوم انها تعطيك أمل .. بالسعادة بالحزن و بالتشويق تجعلك تؤمن بالفرص الثانية .

في مغامرة جديدة لي مع الكاتب الفرنسي اجد نفسي امام بطلة فرنسية و شاب أمريكي للمرة ال.. لا اتذكر لكن لا اعني بذلك انها مكررة بل بالعكس لم اعر ذلك انتباه .. أليس الشرطية الفرنسية و غابرييل "عارف البيانو " يستيقظوا مقيدين الي بعض في سنترال بارك .
أليس بدون اي شيء عدا مسدس ليس لها و دماء على قميصها بدون جرح أسفله و لا يستطيع الاثنين تذكر شيء مما قبل هذه اللحظة
أليس متشككة و غابرييل يخفي شيء لكنهما على كل حال يقررا ان يتعاونا معًا لمعرفة كيف آل بهم الأمر هكذا.

C'est incontestable, la plume de Guillaume Musso est terriblement addictive. Tout s'enchaîne parfaitement, en laissant toujours une part d'ombre et d'interrogation. Et que de rebondissements ! Parfois on les voit venir, mais le plus souvent, j'ai poussé un cri de surprise !
Je me suis enfin réconciliée avec cet auteur que j aimais temps!! J avais beaucoup été déçue des derniers livres car on ne retrouvais plus la magie de Musso, des fins inattendues et paranormales en quelques sorte, ici il a inventé les choses, tout le livre est pleins de surprise, on se demande ce qui va arriver après et on a enfin nos réponses à la fin! Un vrai régal!!
