A very pleasant fable based on several people coming into contact with The Presidents Hat and how it impacts on their lives.

An enjoyable read, my first by Antoine Laurain but certainly not my last. Very easy to read and engaging. The story made me chuckle a few times.

Now where to find a President's hat...

Hard to classify book about a man who is excited to have the president of France seated at a table next to him at a restaurant. When the president leaves his hat behind, the man takes it and proceeds to count some fortunate events in his life to the hat. The book follows changes in the lives of several people who come in contact with the hat. It's a light-hearted, positive little book full of references I didn't quite get, as I didn't live in France in the 1980's.

Anos 80.

I love the enigmatic power of objects and coincidence.
How everything seems ultimately connected and life changing.
How strangers can touch each others lives so unexpectedly.
Could be mind over matter though it's hardly important.
Living is important and who are we to determine what kind of magic helps us to LIVE!
J'adore.

I'm totally into French writers because they get to the point and tend to be very clever. I can't give away the end but a LOVED the journey.
