Rupi Kaur’s words are so real and beautiful and raw, perfectly encapsulating the human experience on so many levels. That being said, it’s not my favorite collection by her. While there were a number of poems that really stood out (swipe to see some examples), many of them fell flat for me. Still would recommend if you’re looking for poetry that’s easy enough to digest and/or are a fan of Kaur’s work.

Such a talented artist.
I always look forward to Rupi Kaurs books.
Her poems are so relatable, there is a little bit for everyone.
