Ok this might be the most boring book of this series so far. I know that I should just stop reading them but me and a friend are having a great time picking out the most ridiculous lines or plot points together. What makes me sad is I really do like mysteries, a lot in fact. That's why these books are so disappointing to me, I really wanted them to be better. Everyone said they were great, and yet I am only being let down.

These books are slow, uninteresting (to me obv.), and most egregious booooooring.

Maybe these books just aren't "for me". I may keep reading if only for the humor, but they aren't my favorite books in the world.

I felt this one was more predictable and cliched than the others, which I found fresh and direct.

Not my favorite of the Kinsey Millhone series, but not my least favorite, either. It was a little slow to get started, and not as much action as I usually like, but the action there was was kind of fun.

I've read a few books from the series and liked them enough. It took a few pages to get back on track, but soon I was reading and skimming through with practiced ease (the author spends way too much time on things that sometimes don't matter).
The plot is pretty much in her style, and it was a decent read that kept me engaged most of the time. The mystery is neither too complex nor straightforward. Thankfully, it doesn't have that 'twist' at the end.
Going back to familiar authors does give the breather one needs.

Solid entry in the Kinsey Milhone, with an ending that while not completely predicable, is one you still see coming. But it is Kinsey that keeps you coming back for more. Her voice is like yours, her reaction to the actions of others is also completely like yours. This series is kind of awesome.

Another wonderful Kinsey story! I love these books of this series! They just keep you guessing until the end! I read this as my " A Murder Mystery" book for the 2016 Popsugar Reading Challenge! :)
