Absolutely wonderful. I've been fascinated by Norse mythology since I first read about it as a boy and The Gospel of Loki is a great reminder of how interesting and entertaining that mythology is.

By narrating the story entirely from the "villain's" point of view, we get an enlightening new perspective on these legends. There really are two sides to every story and the Loki we encounter is funny, engaging and motivated not only by his nature, but also by the prejudice and mistrust of others. Even as Ragnarók comes to fruition, you can't help but sympathise and root for Asgard's bad boy.

A nice retelling of the norse stories from our favourite's trickster's perspective. The author was rather liberal with the characterization of Loki and the other gods - and I liked that!
The one thing I absolutely can't stand in this book is the weird nicknames Loki uses for certain people.

It took me way too long to finish this book but I am glad I finally did!

This is such a great read, a unique point of view and yet portrays Loki in a really interesting light.

I only finished this for a challenge well written but its just not my thing.
