This is another good book by this author. He makes a promise to 2 young girls who he knows as he heard that they might have gone in a car with a DUI .he told them never to do that and if they needed to get home then to call him. He made the promise he wouldn’t ask questions and he would get them home safely. Then came the call he didn’t need or want. One of the girls call and ask to be picked up early hours of the morning. He goes picks her up asks tons of questions. She reminds him of his promise and asks to be taken somewhere. He takes her she gets out the car walks off toward a house and that’s the last time anyone hears from her. Because he knows her parents Myron vows to find her. Then everything happens and he is lead in all sorts of directions . It’s quite a fast paced book but really good. You have to read to find out if they found her. Happy reading

I’m a huge fan of pretty much everything Mr. Coben has printed up to this point, with the Crown Jewel being the Myron Bolitar series. Mixing his incredible juxtaposition of humor and heightened drama, Coben creates strokes of art in each new novel, and I’m happy to say he’s done so again with this book, in my eyes.

There’s something so gripping about these characters, so wonderfully thorough, as if every detail has been thought out so thoroughly it borders on madness. I could go on for ages, but I can of recommend this series, and really all Harlan Coben books, enough!
