This book was good, but it wasn't as good as the first one.

We learned a lot more about Tristan and Morana's past - one of the things I wouldn't have guessed at the begging of this book, but as we got more and more information I was suspicious.

I really enjoyed seeing their relationship open up more, even if Tristan will most likely always be a little more icy on the outside. The epilogue ending was beautiful, I enjoyed getting to see a peak into Tristan's thoughts and emotions (yes - he does have emotions) that we usually don't get to see.

Es hat sich so gelohnt dranzubleiben ✨ ich mochte das erste Buch eigentlich schon ganz gerne, hatte aber dennoch die ein oder andere Kritik. Das zweite Buch war einfach nur gut.

Es war spannend, unerwartet und teilweise so witzig. Ich hab‘s geliebt, dass man auch endlich mal mehr von Tristan kennengelernt hat. I mean, er redet immer noch sehr sehr wenig haha aber er ist irgendwie voll der cutie ✨💕 and he is trying really badly und dass lieb ich ja. Und er ist endlich nicht mehr Tristan Caine, sondern nur Tristan 🙌🏻💪🏻 Ansonsten mag ich den plot auch sehr gerne. Hätte mir aber irgendwie gewünscht, dass die Mafia Story auch aufgelöst wird. Ja, ich weiß es gibt noch weitere Teile der Reihe und safe wird das da auch noch Thema sein (hoffe ich zumindest, weil sonst übel dumm), aber Moranas und Tristians Story endet ja quasi und da fehlt mir so der Abschluss.

Tatsächlich „nur“ 4⭐️ weil ich 3rd person immer noch nicht so fühle und weil mir so das gewisse etwas fehlt, was mich dazu zwingt die Reihe weiter zu lesen. Ich denke Tristan und Morana sind es einfach, also denke ich, dass die anderen Teile nicht einziehen werden (auch wenn ich ja kleinen crush auf Dante habe🤫✨)

Würde die Bücher definitiv empfehlen für Leute die eh schon in der dark romance Thematik drinne sind. Also, die beiden Bücher waren null schlimm und auch nicht all zu dark, aber denke da gibt es bessere zum starten💁🏼‍♀️

This picked up right where predator left and it went all in. This book excited me more than the first. Didn’t think I could hate another mob father more that Moana’s but then there was Dante’s father! Tristan really opened up and I loved him. Moana still a bad ass!
