Things I liked:
- the dark and twisty of it all
- the mystery around Legend’s identity
- honestly the vampire-like situation with Jack

Things I didn’t:
- Tella, as a character, was low key annoying
- there wasn’t anything really new here - which is ok, but it did mean a good portion of this plot felt lather-rinse-repeat to me

Overall:
3.5 stars for magic and mess

I have book 3 on audio and am hoping for a stellar ending to the series!

Really enjoyed this book! I liked Della’s point of view — feel like the whole Legend being in love with their grandma plot was dropped though lol
