This was about a fun as describing modern advances to a Victorian but choosing not to share what they look like.
As a fan of both the Netflix movie “The Knight Before Christmas” I thought this would be right up my alley. This has a really great start, but the insta-love right off the bat was a little too much for my taste. Personally, there was just too explaining the modern world and then going to do the same thing you spent so much time explaining. Also, we loved to just ignored the fact that you’re wanted by the FBI but you’re CONSTANTLY going into public settings with no regards to hiding or disguises.
I think if you’re a vibes romance reader, this is just the silly novel for you. I rather just go to Medieval Times (again).

A really cute, easy rom com with a small bit of spice. This definitely gives you 80's Mannequin vibes (remember that film?) A cursed, knight statue is awakened by nerdy, divorced museum conservator in Chicago and comical antics ensues. Certainly, it fills the trope of the fish-out-of-water story as the hunky warrior tries to adapt to the modern world but this is a sweet, enjoyable read!
