Such a nice book to curl up with on a warm day. Everything felt so vivid and lush, as if I was really there exploring this lovely corner of the world along with Madeline.

So nice to read a book with an all trans cast and sex scenes that are also very gender affirming and pleasurable. As a trans person, it meant a lot to me to be represented in this kind of way.

Recommending to anyone who is trans and just wants a book that offers so much in a little novella!

i wished i liked this more - i adore the characters, but the ending becomes so disjointed and single scene that i just found myself wishing for more out of everyone, especially their interpersonal relationships

this book was too short in my opinion and that’s my only complaint.
i love this love story, isn’t it lovely how we can stumble upon kind, generous, understanding and loving people who’ll accept us and build relationships with us? Life can really be that simple right?

This is very flowery trans porn in a cottagecore setting with a bit of angst - basically "we have this one thing in common so now we're fucking (but should we?)" I guess.

I found the romance to be lacking because so much of it was depending on sex, it's like they can't have a romantic moment without getting horny and that's just based too much off of physical attraction for my tastes. I'd much rather had more actual conversations between them than constantly getting sidetracked by lust.

The writing was rather vague, like a fantasy or daydream instead of a substancial story, all porn no plot, just vibes and slice of life. Felt like there's a wall seperating me from the characters and it didn't hold my attention at all. As a result the romance and sex scenes were really boring and repetitive, took me forever just to push through to the end.

The characters' trans features are either implied or not at all mentioned, probably to avoid gender dysphoria, but that just disconnected me from them all even more. These hazy non-clear descriptions and purple language almost made it seem like these characters aren't really living in their own bodies, especially during sex. Which I'm sure can be comforting to others but isn't sexy to me at all and considering all they do is be very very horny it kinda feels like a waste of time because there's no commitment.

I always say this, if most of your book is smut then it better be good or entertaining, sitting through mid porn just for the sake of it isn't my idea of a good time.

Also if you're not already familiar with the bodily changes hormone therapy cause or trans sex culture you're going to be very confused because the book doesn't explain or elaborate any of it.

I enjoyed the poly rep though, I think the conversations around that topic were well done even if it could've gone a bit deeper into it. Got me interested in reading more poly romance for sure, that's exciting.
