Short and sweet. I'm not a fan of smut but I enjoyed the cozy vibes of the rest of the story.

Fine and cute but not what I was expecting. There was depth but it did not feel fully realized, likely because this is as short as it is.

A lovely read about three people finding each other away from a harsh world.  Madeline has tried to make it in New York but when her efforts do not pan out, a friend suggests she become a live-in companion to writer Victor.  Madeline finds herself drawn to Victor and to neighbor Audrey as she embraces her new life.

Victor and Audrey were once partners, and navigating the relationships between all three of them becomes a delicate balance of desire and emotion.

To be honest, the thought of moving to a remote, old mansion near the woods sounds delightful.  Madeline's journey was heartwarming, and the spice is so well done.
fast-paced

There wasn’t really much in the way of plot and it did get a bit repetitive at times, but it was a very sweet and untraditional romance. Sometimes you just need a short, enjoyable read.

Cool thing was that I didn't realize that all the characters were
trans
until the last 10 pages of the book! Loved that!

There's a lot of mention of scary things in the woods but nothing scary happens. I'm not sure if that was the point but it felt very "if there's a gun in act 1, if should go off by act 3" but the gun never went off.

A cute and wholesome t4t poly romance, but missing any major plot development and i feel like the characters deserved more. Writing itself was okay.
