It was okay. Fast read. Fairly predictable.

This is a solid beginning to Higgins Clark's career as a suspense novelist. Though not explicit, this novel is based on an interesting premise and tightly plotted. Some may find the conclusion cliche, but the journey is worth it.

Thrilling!
If my kids got abducted I'd probably go Liam Neeson on their ass.

DNF  35%, I gave it almost 3 stars because the writing wasn't the problem, it just seemed dated and I just was uninterested in continuing

I grew up watching my mom devour Mary Higgins Clark's books. I told her I had taken a dip into the pool of mystery and thrillers and was enjoying my new reads. She suggested that I needed to read 'Where are the children?' and dang it, she was correct!!! Even though I could take a solid guess as to where the story was going, the moment my brain pieced together who the antagonist was I GASPED. I needed to finish the book and devoured it hungrily. Will not overlook my mom's recommendations again.
