Beautiful romance which dealt with serious topics like alcoholism, grief, and gun violence. 
I’m not usually a fan of 2nd chance narratives, but this one was touching, with lots of character growth on both sides. 
Mouthwatering food description (even as a vegetarian!)
So grateful for the Petey footnotes.

This story is really incredible! I went in thinking it was a romance but that was a side story to everything else and it worked so well! The characters had so much depth and honesty that really brought them to life and made me feel so much for this book.
