Carter Beckett is your typical f***boy manwhore. Captain and star NHL player. Every night a different girl and never one to want a commitment. Until he meets her, a girl he was warned away from but the moment he sees her he doesn’t care that she’s off limits.
Olivia doesn’t care who Carter Beckett is, she knows all about his reputation and isn’t interested in being the next girl in a long line of them. It doesn’t matter how much time they spend together though, her resolve is weakening, under that playboy image Carter might just be more.
This book was ok, it was long, oh so very long. It felt like it dragged in most parts. Adding plot points that the book didn’t need.
Where I loved Carter and the banter between the hockey team. A lot of it was unnecessary drama that the book didn’t need. I do love a he falls first though.

The chemistry between Olivia and Carter is amazing. I love the banter they offer. The spice is top notch. Why does it get 2 stars? Because it was way too long. At 47% into the book, it could have ended.

I was shocked at how good this was for a KU hockey romance. All the characters were very likable and there were quite a few really sweet moments that had me tearing up.
I did find the spice to be a bit repetitive though.
