This story was intense, and it went to some weird places (as it should being a Joker story). I didn't love the little interruptions with stories of things going on elsewhere in Gotham, but they served the purpose of rounding out the story. I didn't know what to expect going in, and I couldn't guess what was happening throughout. It's a truly gripping story with excellent artwork that both looks great and adds something special to the narrative.

These Joker comics consistently impress me with their perfectly arcing stories, beautiful artwork and interesting characters. Where I find a lot of other comics these days very corny, these have been a wonderful experience. Whenever I finish one I'm thinking "I'd love to see this on the big screen" or "I'd love to share this with someone".
I would recommend these to anyone with an interest in comics and superheroes, because this is a superhero story, but told from the perspective of a villain. And that's just not done enough.

Possibly the best Joker story I've read in a while (but obviously not the best Joker story I've read).

Hmm. Much of this has already been told in the main Batman storyline previously in Endgam. I suppose you could read this as a stand-alone, but I would think mostly the people who read this are reading the whole run. The story is retold again. There are new parts of the story, from other character stories, I hare, but there isn't a whole lot added into the Endgame story. I think from now on, I will stick to the main stories and not read these extra titles. They aren't really worth it.

The story is still diabolical.

So....I thought this was a whole new story/book....damn you DC. This is actually a reprinting of Batman #35-40 spliced with tie-in issues. The added issues made this slightly better, I originally gave Endgame a 1 star review.

I keep going back and forth on if I like this story or not. I love the concept of what the Joker is trying to do, but it does get boring from time to time. My favorite part was when Joker decided he needed a friend. I feel like the comic was a collection of amazing moments in between scenes of what were they thinking.

I have yet to read Batman Endgame which by the sounds of it, I should have done first but I thought this was pretty awesome. Definitely one of the best Batman comics I've ever read.

"This guy is a joke. Hell! That's his freaking name! He goes around calling himself like some kind of cereal mascot, getting punched by some other nutjob in a Dracula costume."
What kind of Dracula movies are you watching?

"They talk to you about him your first day here, ya know? Separate-like, apart from what they tell you about everybody else. They try to prepare you for him. But there is no way to prepare. Not for him."

"Where did you go?"
"Where I always go. To that little corner in the back of your head where all the bad things hide. That's where I'm really from. That's the real truth of it. I prefer not to think of it as multiple choice... it's more choose-your-own-adventure."

Look at this unused cover, lads. Nah, I mean, really look at this badass cover. LOOK AT IT! I am IN LOVE with this cover. (Source)
