an enjoyable reading experience but ultimately quite forgettable. i liked the writing style, the characters, and the romance, but the plot got a little confusing towards the end, or just moved in a way i didnt quite like. still really enjoyed and would recommend, but after a few days, the plot of the book has completely escaped me.

2024 re-read - Kelly will always blow me away with her atmospheric and richly descriptive writing. I love this book so so much.

Beautifully written, highly confusing, creepy as all get out, and one of the coolest books I have read in a long time. I only put it down once, to give myself a break bc I don’t generally read horror.

This got too dark and too creepy for me. I thought it was dark academia, but there was less and less academia and less of the side characters and just more creepy.
