My favorite out of the Devils Night series based on the pace alone. I think I really hate the relationships in this book, but the spicy levels make up for it. You’ll love and HATE then love and hate the guys again. The ending was wild.

What in the what wattpad story did I just force myself to read. This book was confusing from start to end and really, the only good thing was the writing. The plot was so confusing and I absolutely haded the characters. Warning: Erika is a weal character who thinks she’s different from other girls but all she does is let herself be controlled and manipulated by everyone around her. The time skips are really hard to keep up with so you don’t start understanding the conflict or even the plot until 85% into the book.
it was so obvious from the beginning Logan was the bad guy. I guess the only twist was exactly how they accomplished it
. Overall it was extremely cringey and I really had to force myself to get through it. Also TRIGGER WARNING FOR R**E!!!! It gets thrown around like nobody’s business and basically ignored by all the characters. The whole plan to get revenge on Erika was disgusting and sick and I cannot believe everyone just moved past it like nothing. The whole “Four Horsemen” thing was weird and confusing and makes me think the author is extremely out of touch with reality like seriously a group of 16 year olds in town getting away with blatant crimes and terrorizing the town while adults are too scared to stand up to them? *eye roll*
NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

I was prepared for a dark romance but this just took things too far. The main romantic lead had absolutely no redeeming qualities and honestly Rika was pretty annoying herself. She acts so naive to what’s going on around her (likely for the plot of the book to allow for a reveal) even though she realistically is supposed to be smart enough to get into Brown. The whole revenge plot is gross and poorly motivated, not to mention the unnecessary and disgusting rhetoric around drug addiction spouted by Michael - “Drugs are a crutch for people too ignorant to self-destruct on their own.” Like jesus christ tell me you have no empathy for human beings in a single sentence Michael. None of these characters were like-able enough to bother continuing, the book is trying to hard to be edgy and mysterious and it comes off tacky and slimy.

*sighs* You don't know how much I felt stupid reading this book. I just wanna slam both the main characters face in the wall and scold them on how stupid they are. Don't freaking start with the side characters esp that psycho friend, I wanna k-word him myself (no joke). This book makes me angry to the core, I wanna toss it in the garbage dump. (i liked the spice scenes tho)

P.s. i thought at first that this book is a vampire story bcs of its dark aura???

The 85% mark/ chapter 25 part of this book gets five stars and will live rent free in my head for awhile 😌

This book is supposed to be dark romance about these men that want to get revenge on this girl that made some of them go to jail a few years ago. My problem with it was that it wasn’t really that dark and if you are gonna go there then go big. I would have preferred to see more stuff they did to mess with her and the others pushing Michael’s limits more. I also think that Rika should have saved herself more in a few scenarios since that seemed like kind of the point. It’s a fun read if you throw your morals out of the window.
