Found it slightly hard to get into it. Took me a few chapters to get hooked unlike the others from this Universe. But a brilliant read nonetheless.
still need to think about the rating of this book, it's between 3,5 and 4 stars for now
i had high expectations that weren't met but not in a disappointing way. since most of this book is about politics and war i found most of it boring, however i loved reading about the characters and meeting lots of them again.
this book felt more like the shadow&bone show than the shadow&bone books, which isn't necessarily bad but just not what i expected.
i really like the plot point leigh bardugo gave us at the end and i hope she will start writing soc3 soon.
overall, im happy i FINALLY read this book and i am super excited to see what else will happen in the grishaverse.

I really love this universe and the story telling. I feel like there are times in the book where Bardugo makes profound statements of the human condition through comments from the characters.

I’m feeling very mixed on this, love the characters, I’m annoyed that the darkling was back but at least he had a small part. If this is the end of the series then it is very lackluster, however if there are more books planned then I will certainly read them
