Rebecca Yarros, the woman you are. I absolutely adore you. This was beautiful. I got up and gave my husband a fat hug, not for any bad reason. But the love and the development was just so beautiful.

Ughhhhhh! I already loved Jagger from Full Measures, but I feel so hard for him in this book! He and Paisley were perfection and had the perfect tension! I'm so excited for the next books! I'm really hoping for a Grayson (sp? Idk audiobook lol) story because I want his background and to figure out if he has a girl back home (even though I originally thought he would be good for Mornmgan or even Sam. And I want a Will and Morgan one! Will definitely grew on me! I hated him at first because of how he treated her, same with her parents (especially her mom bc dad did stand up for her a bit), and because I would tell that he had been in love with her sister before she died, but by the end, I was sort of rooting for him to get his own HEA. And Grayson is just obvious why I would love him. Broody, gruff, secretive, and quiet, yet he will stand up for his friends and just KNOWS THINGS! I will say that I was so frustrated for the entire book with everyone around Paisley and how they treated her and insisted on things from her, even though I knew it was done out of love, and it wasn't until the hospital scene with Jagger that I actually agreed with them some and was frustrated with Paisley. I know her decision was the correct one, and Im glad she made it, but I hated how the conversation went down with Jagger and the things she said. And I think thar they were both in the wrong in that situation.

I'm absolutely obsessed with Rebecca Yarros' writing! Her love stories feel like coming home for Christmas or falling asleep to rain. The slow burn is absolutely perfect, and the plot twists keep you hooked in the best way possible. I could gush about her books forever!

Eyes Turned Skyward delivers some of my favorite tropes: slow burn romance, a love triangle, emotional healing, opposites attract, and the swoony "man in uniform." It's everything I didn’t know I needed in a love story.

My only regret is not reading this right after Full Measures. While these stories can stand alone, they're beautifully intertwined, and reading them in order truly enhances the experience. Highly recommend!
