I need a sequel now!!
This book is such a breath of fresh air for the YA genre. The writing style was simple and relatable which paired perfectly with all of the action and emotional tension. I loved how this fueled Ross' character and caused me to really want to get behind her motivations as well as root for her on a personal and competitive level. It was so cool how the side characters and their families pretty much spanned the globe, adding to the feeling as the reader of being a part of something big! I think it's best to go in not knowing too much more about the story but if you like action, heists and thievery, complete with a dash of romance, this one's for you!
Overall, this was such an incredible and addicting YA thriller, I can't wait to read more!

Thieves from all over the world are brought together for a contest--but what happens when you are in it to save your mother? This was a super fun read! Fast-paced and keeps you guess on who the good guys are. I will definately read the follow up. Also, excited to see that it might be made into a movie! Recommended.
I had a hard time getting into this book in the beginning but I'm glad I pushed through because once it got going I really enjoyed it. I love the dynamics of the competitors and the clear found family trope playing out. Ending has me distraught - in the best possible way! Anxious and excited to see what comes next!

I figured some things out early on I also did not care for the will they wont they situation
4.5⭐
I wanted a fast-paced, easy and quick read so I could binge it before Reckless was released.
And this book delivered that but it delivered so much more...
The plot never got boring; I was mostly unsure what was going to happen. The ending was so crazy and the betrayal hit so hard. My jaw was on the floor and my heart was with Rosalyn.
At times, I did anticipate the twists but that didn't bother me.
I didn't love Rosalyn. Some of her actions bothered me and I felt like screaming at her sometimes. However, I could move past it so I liked her most of the time.
I liked Devroe in the beginning of the book and then he confused and irritated me. Also, how can I like him now given what happened?
I liked the realistic problems that was weaved in the book. For example, big museums collecting artifacts from other countries and hoarding items that they didn't need. Most people wouldn't like Instagram being used but I found it more ironic and realistic.
This book is criminally underrated and I highly recommend you read this!
Just a warning that the ending was a cliffhanger. It wasn't a bad cliffhanger but if they annoy you, maybe wait for the next book?
