I liked it a lot! I was hoping the ending would have a more satisfying conclusion, though!

I did like the shifting dynamics between the various characters, a lot! The twists and turns were good! The romantic tension was strong. I'm mostly just disappointed that it'll be a little challenging to recommend to my students whole-heartedly until the next book is out.

I can't believe it took me so long to come back and finish this book!

I'm so glad to have finished it and will definitely be reading book 2.

There were some twists I saw but quite a lot at the end that I didn't see coming.
