Oh my Nokley, I took a trip down memory lane with these graphic novel adaptions.

I was slightly uncomfortable with the way Stacey interacted with her ‘crush’ and their friend group, and also the way she just left the children basically vulnerable with Mary-Anne, and yet nothing was said.
And yes ok, it’s middle grade, and “we’re all best friends, I’ll cover for you” but they should have been honest and told the parents. I mean let’s be real, kids are snitches. What are they going to do when one of the kids says oh no we hardly saw Stacey she was with her boyfriend, we we’re with Mary-Anne and her friends?

It's so odd that, having not read this book in like 20 years, I remembered this one so well. Why this random one out of the whole series, I don't know. But I can tell I'm older because the first time I read it I felt Stacey's plight in my very soul. This time I rolled my eyes so hard I saw my Lord and Savior, because child, you are thirteen.
Which is young but not too young to learn that men ain't shit. Now you know.
I did still enjoy this one. It was one of the books where I liked Mary Anne the most.

This book is quite focused on Mary Anne and Stacey. So If you don't like them, I don't recommend this book. They go babysit the pikes in a different state, and Stacey gets way too distracted with other things, leaving Mary Anne to do it all! 8 kids are a lot............will Mary Anne actually "Do it all", or will things go terribly wrong..............

I was passionately devoted to these in the early nineties, but they've aged less well than most of my other reading from those days. And oh, Lord the clothes! Striped pedal-pushers are never advisable, even in 1987.

This is the next installment of the Baby-Sitters club graphic novels! I have loved these books as a kid so being able to read them as graphic novels is great! I love the artistry and it moves so fast! Such an amazing series for all ages!!
