I’m definitely more of a thriller reader over a horror reader but wow this book was amazing. It reads like a typical slasher horror movie and the pace is fast with so much tension! Such a wonderful read with an ambiguous ending!

A group of friends, lovers, and exes get stranded at the cabin in a blizzard, surrounded by hungry beasts. Interesting enough to finish, but not to recommend.

Okay, this book was... not bad but not good either. I finished it, but I absolutely didn't care about the characters. I want to believe that the author made all of them insufferable on purpose
just so it would be easy to kill them.
Although I am somewhat happy with the ending, because Jane was the worst of all of them, and having her forced to relive the nightmare makes me a bit happy.

Would I recommend this book? No, but it's not worth 2 stars, more like 2.5. If I liked the characters better, maybe I would have enjoyed the book more because the idea and the writing is pretty good.

Oh my goodness. This book literally scared the crap out of me. It was such a slow psychological burn that I couldn’t read it before bed without having extremely messed up dreams. The soap opera part of the story got a bit long in the tooth but the suspense was enough to make it bearable. Insane start to 2025!

Such a good book for winter, unless you don't like horror... 😅
The atmosphere was very detailed, it felt as if I was with these characters in the cabin, instead of just on my couch reading words on a page... 🙃
I'm glad I'm not in that cabin though... those monster things are TERRIFYING!

It was going good, until they turned back! I would've been out of there, sorry not sorry.

I have nothing bad to say about this book, I love a creature feature and this one gave me chills reading it. I felt very invested in all these characters and their progression. I love Ania and her writing style so much I have yet to read a miss from her.

I recently got a kindle & my sister recommended this book to me (she absolutely loves horror, as do I) and this did not disappoint!

The author grips you within the first few sentences of the book & makes you grip your book/kindle with the need of knowing what happens next. I finished it in 3 days and could not put it down.
