I would rate this 67 out 100.

Well I didn't enjoy this book as much as I hoped. We've got a group of friends in a cabin and almost 80% of the story is just a slice of life \ romcom. There is some intermissions with some slasher stuff but overall I feel that those were not the main focus of this tale. It's a shame. Maybe because I was sold it was s slasher kind of book and it was not.

That doesn't mean I won't read more from her - well I bought 6 of her novels (and have a special edition If You see Her).

I had to knock a star off because the dog dies. I’ll give it 2.5. This was a thoroughly creepy story and ended in a horrible creepy way. I was a little bored in the first half but my heart was beating out of my chest in the second. In a way it was a perfect ending to a monster story. I blame myself for going into this blind.

Wow…. I need to know what happened to Ryan and Oona! I was always so wrapped up in the dog and making sure she stayed alive and now… I don’t even know and won’t have closure until I do.

It was okay. A little on the slow side. Some elements I enjoyed, but not as strong as I feel like it could have been
