Ahlborn showing that they can do creature feature horror in addition to the psychological stuff! It felt like there was a LOT scene setting in the first half, but the bleakness once the action got going should keep most horror fans happy

This book was extremely creepy. Isolated horror always gets to me.
A group of five friends travel up to a cabin in the woods as a last hurrah before their lives change. While there, a massive snow storm traps them in the cabin. But running out of food and water is the least of their worries. Something is hunting them, and it’s only goal is to feed.
I loved that this book featured a Rake like monster. Those Creepypastas used to spook the pants off of me as a kid.
This book is brutal and well written. Not to mention that I loved the ending.

This was a fast and fun read. I loved the way she told the story so it really flowed and I had to read it till it's end to find out what's going to happen to the main characters. These monsters were really freaky, the atmosphere was built nicely. The plot and setting is nothing new but it doesn't really matter as i have enjoyed reading this book.

This was a good book, there was some really scary moments, and it did a really good job of describing the monster. My problem is with one character in particular. Sawyer. When April was taken, the only reason he cared about getting her back was because she was pregnant......... He cared more about the baby than he did the woman he "loved".
