I have wanted to read this book for like EVER (well, it seems like that).
No, seriously.. I have. The title, the author, and the cover allll made me want to read it. It honestly didn't really matter what the book was about.

The beginning had me completely hooked after the first chapter that I honestly didn't realize how far along I was in the book until I finished the last page.

Now this was my first book by Robert Bryndza and I absolutely loved it. It was so freaking interesting and amazing that my mind was completely blown throughout the book. However, the ending was kind of predictable. But I honestly didn't really even pick up on things until near the end anyways.. but I still sort of guessed how this whole book would end.

Oh.. yeah, I'm not going to spoil a damn thing because this book was such a good thriller that I really want people to read it. I am so happy that I finally got this book from the library and that I found time to read it at work today. It was very enjoyable and freaking interesting that I didn't care that it ended. I seriously want to read more books by this author because I have fallen in love with the writing. I need more.

4.5 stars. What a ride! A well-written police procedural that never once felt dry or improbable. My only gripe was, sometimes Erika's conversations with her boss felt too bold, as if she didn't care at all about a possibility of being fired there and then. That's not how it works in real life. Other than that, it was a perfect thriller to curl up with in January - the book is set in a bleak January in London.
And I really like Erika so I'll definitely read other books about her.
