the trust that each character had in each other was incredibly meaningful in this series. they understood that the other person had a good reason for their actions or lies and that they wanted the best for the ones they cared about. this was an action-packed story without miscommunication and i loved fable’s found family and even blood family.

Not very often is the sequel better than the first book but this one blew my mind. I love how the protagonist is a strong character but also has someone who will selflessly protect her. I absolutely loved the ending too. Revenge is sweet!
