I felt that this one was a little bit slower than the previous ones, like if  it was a second act.

This volume was sweet and fun, but also a bit more tough and real as Nick and Charlie learn more about themselves, each other, and their friendships. I'm rooting for these boys. Also, there are silly school trip adventures in Paris!

As always, a perfect light read. With a little bit of deep topics, tackled in a very careful and gentle way, showing how beautifully those things can be handled. Just like everyone deserves.

This is a reread from last year in prep for volume 5 that just came out and I still stand by this being the most wholesome series to exist. We needed this beautiful graphic novel in our lives currently. There are so many topics and themes that she touches on that can connect to so many readers.

This graphic novel/webtoon has everything from first love, defining your sexuality, saying "I love you" for the first time, dealing with bullying and homophobia, standing up for what you believe in, facing your fears, coming-out, loving yourself, and in this latest installment the struggles with depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

This volume definitely hit home for me when one of the characters is revealed to potentially have an eating disorder. As someone that struggled with body dysmorphia as a child which grew into Anorexia as young teen and adult, I am so glad that Oseman captures eating disorders correctly and not with the assumption that it's because we are obsessed with being skinny.

I always get so happy when I pick up another volume of Heartstopper. It's one of those comfort reads you can turn to when you have a bad day and just need something happy in your life.
