Ah what a shame. Abrupt, haphazard and silly. Gideon Falls vomits at the end and keeps vomiting even after it’s dead.
Gideon falls used my go to horror comic, that deranged devil, that skull of a goat I used to pray and whisper, all that blood and wine that I poured, all those nightmares that I survived.
Unfortunately it evolved into a cliched, predictable and absolutely rushed, uninspiring drama garlanded with buzzwords of horror and sci-fi.
Nevertheless, the journey was memorable and truly psychologically disturbing to the point that I was scared, my heart sweating profusely and was always looking at my window, my mirrors for that fucking smile.
Rating: That fucking smile/5

I don’t think there could’ve been a better way to end this series than this. It wasn’t tied up with a bow but it was deliciously spooky!

This has been one of my favourite graffic novel series in a while and I've lived each installment as its come out. It's both followed and kicked over comic and science fiction conventions in equal measure. That said I don't know whether to be disappointed by its ending or not. Its kind of surprising in a not surprising kind of way. So for now ⭐⭐⭐, we'll see if it earns another ⭐ after a full reread of the series at a later date.

Amazing. I give this volume 4 stars but the series overall deserves 4.5
Really well done. I only wish we had gotten a bit more back story and emotional depth for Angie

Felt like the author wrote himself into a box. Ended up being a big let down.

I get why people maybe don't love this ending, but I think it's fantastic. I don't want it all explained to me in tidy bows. It's cosmic horror, and this team delivers.
As evil reaches out from the center of the multiverse, our desperate band of heroes are left to pick up the pieces and hold back the darkness. With existence falling apart, they have only each other and fragments of truth to work with as attempt to bring the conflict to an end.
Lemire continues to shine, delivering grounded characters while also telling an imaginative, cosmic adventure. Sorrentino's art and layouts are flawless from start to finish, delivering the sci-fi and horror elements of the story through sound effects, design, and generally horrific imagery. Add in Stewart's coloring and Wands handling lettering and this is a dream team of comics creation.
It began simply, but it's going out with a bang. Gideon Falls has been a wild ride, and I'm glad for every page of the journey.
