The slow set up of the complex romance with 4 people and like SEVERAL different combinations it could work out to caught my interest even though I'm not a major "Love triangle" fan typically- I think it's because the relationships it has are all properly laid out instead of ignored. 

Also Taichi being like "I don't have friends" is so hilarious. He literally is walking up to 3 friends when he says that. He gains three new ones immediately. Goob-core.
