The Sappy romantic in me is overjoyed...
And trying not to tear up! (You can laugh, I'm laughing at me too!) But that end...has me fighting tears!
Reindeer Falls is indeed a magical place! I just wish Jana Aston would sneak us more than 3 stories a year! Now, don't misunderstand I'm not on Maggie's level of all Christmas, all year. But Reindeer Falls requires more magical stories to get us through a long year without it!
Carter and Lexi are prime Reindeer Falls, Christmas magic/miracle material! And definitely the kind of whimsy and romance every hopeful romantic needs in their lives!!!

This is the final book in this year's addition to the Reindeer Falls collection. When Carter's uncle died, he left Rudy, his dog, to Carter. Lexi, his uncle's next door neighbor, has been caring for Rudy since he passed, but now has to hand him over to Carter, her crush from high school. Carter rubs Rudy the wrong way on their meeting for the handover, but Carter, who has the need suddenly to clean up his image, chases down Lexi to be his fiancé in a fake engagement.
Just as with the previous two entries, this is a quick, but fun and engaging read. There are some hilarious moments and I've always been a fan of fake engagement stories so I loved diving into this one!

Carter Sheppard another Sheppard brother to enter Reindeer Falls and make his own mark. He is a famous baseball player with girls galore and now with his reputation in the dumps he needs to make adjustments and when the town librarian who has his newly inherited dog walks into his life he sees he’s chance. Lexi had a crush on Carter in high school but has seen and heard about all his playboy ways and when she has to forfeit Rudy she’s upset but especially when Carter treats her like a jerk. Carter decides to suggest a fake engagement to the wholesome librarian to fix his image and of course she flat out turns him down. Being relentless Carter is always finding ways to cross Lexi’s path eventually things heat up. This quick read was steamy, cute, and funny. I love being back in Reindeer Falls and seeing the Christmas magic work on these couples.

Carter and Lexi are a fabulous couple. Similar but so different, reading them fall in love was magical. Dogs and books, two of my absolute favorite things, feature heavily in this story, which is another huge bonus for me. I LOVED that it was dogs, not cats, for Lexi.
This author is one I can always count on for sexy, funny entertainment, and this book completely delivered!

Cute, quick read. I enjoyed getting to know the Shepard brothers. I really enjoyed reading Lexi and Carters happily ever after.

This story was so cute! I loved Carter and Lexi. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. If you’re looking for a quick Christmas read, look no further than this perfect addition to Reindeer Falls.
